Last 12 September was celebrated the first kick off meeting of LIFE Multi-AD 4 AgroSMES project (LIFE 17 ENV/ES/000331) coordinated by the Spanish PME Agua, Energía y Medioambiente Servicios Integrales S.L.U (AEMA) and cofinanced by the European LIFE Program under the action “Environment and climate action” and which will be carried out between September 2018 and February 2022.
With this project, it is pretended to industrialise an innovative high efficiency multiphase anaerobic reactor for wastewater treatment generated in Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) of agri-food sector (F&D).
The design of Multi-AD reactor is patented by AEMA (ES-2541078) and its production will be ad-hoc and on demand (with a capacity between 25 and 500 m3) depending on the needs of each client. This technology will reduce the environmental impact of agri-food SMEs, as well as the exploitation costs derived of waste treatment and management.
In the kick off meeting of the project were represented all the entities which form the Consortium: Agua, Energía y Medioambiente Servicios Integrales S.L.U (AEMA, Spain)1, Instituto Tecnológico de Aragón (ITAINNOVA, Spain)2, Purines Almazan S.L (PURAL, Spain)3, Societatea de Inginerie Sisteme S.A (SIS, Romania)4, and Institutions et Stratégies (I&S, France)5 and the Executive Agency for SMEs (European Commission) through a NEEMO representant and monitor of the project.
During the meeting, the tasks and activities which are being executed currently were revised, as well as the foreseen for next months. Besides, the dissemination and communication plan were presented, and the administrative and financing rules of LIFE program were deeply analysed with the aim of fixing a management politic which will be carried out during the project execution.
